The iron removal filters and system upgrades will help boost reliability and enhance water quality.
Aqua Illinois is proud to announce the completion of a water treatment and elevated tank improvement project in our Eastwood Manor system. The tank improvements included repairs, structural improvements, removing sediment from the interior, and washing the interior and exterior. The water treatment plant improvements include building renovations, chemical feed equipment replacements, and the installation of an iron filtration system to improve water quality for our customers.
“Since acquiring the system in 2016, Aqua Illinois has been working to reduce the levels of iron present in the area’s system. We are pleased to deliver the new iron filtration system along with other system improvements to demonstrate our commitment to the community”, said David Carter, President of Aqua, Illinois. “These improvements will not only enhance our operations but also ensure that we continue to deliver exceptional service.”
