August 2, 2024 -- Honesdale, PA customers -- Aqua Pennsylvania crews are aggressively responding to an equipment failure in our Honesdale service area which is causing issues with discolored water. Our test samples show there is no danger in drinking the water.If customers experience discolored water, the following steps can be taken: Let the water run for 5 minutes to see if it clears OR DO NOT use the water for 45 minutes to see if the water clears. If desired, bottled water is available for customers in the affected area on weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. at Aqua’s Administrative Office 1775 N. Main Street, Honesdale, PA 18431. We advise customers not to launder clothes until the issue is resolved.
