August 29, 2026 -- Aqua Pennsylvania has lifted the proactive Boil Water Advisory for approximately 195 customers in Marple Township, Delaware County. The advisory was issued on August 26, 2026, and impacted customers on the following streets: Carli Drive, Atwater Road, N Kent Road, S Kent Road, Stoney Creek Road, Fox Lane, Kent Road, Orchard Drive, N Sproul Road from Carli Drive to Marple Road, Arbor Road, and Arden Road. 

Customers can resume normal use of water.  

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection approved Aqua’s decision to lift the advisory.

September 21, 2026 -- Aqua Pennsylvania is lifting a Boil Water Advisory for all customers in the Cooperstown Water Company service area, including on Highland Park Drive and Sawmill Road. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection approved Aqua’s decision to lift the advisory. All customers can resume normal use of water.

Aqua Pennsylvania is currently operating the system as receiver under order from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission.

September 21, 2026 — Aqua Pennsylvania is aware some customers in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties are reporting their water has an earthy or musty taste. Our regular laboratory testing confirms that the water meets all state and federal drinking water standards. The taste and odor changes are due to naturally occurring compounds in our source water. Aqua has adjusted our treatment process, and we expect the issue to be resolved within the next few days. We thank our customers for their patience and understanding.
