July 6, 2026 -- Aqua Pennsylvania has issued a Boil Water Advisory impacting water service for all customers in the Mt. Cobb water system due to a water main break. 

Aqua customers in the affected area are advised to use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation until further notice. You will be notified when this Boil Water Advisory is lifted.

Customers on the following streets are impacted: Carli Drive, Atwater Road, N Kent Road, S Kent Road, Stoney Creek Road, Fox Lane, Kent Road, Orchard Drive, N Sproul Road from Carli Drive to Marple Road, Arbor Road, and Arden Road.

September 21, 2026 — Aqua Pennsylvania is aware some customers in Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties are reporting their water has an earthy or musty taste. Our regular laboratory testing confirms that the water meets all state and federal drinking water standards. The taste and odor changes are due to naturally occurring compounds in our source water. Aqua has adjusted our treatment process, and we expect the issue to be resolved within the next few days. We thank our customers for their patience and understanding.
