Aqua Aid Pennsylvania

Aqua Aid is an assistance program that provides grants to customers in need. It is funded through generous donations from Essential shareholders and Aqua Pennsylvania customers. Visit our Aqua Aid page to request assistance.

Aqua Leak Repair Program

Aqua Pennsylvania’s Leak Repair Program helps customers who are struggling financially and have a water leak in their home.

Customer Assistance Program (CAP)

The Aqua Customer Assistance Program (CAP) is a discount program designed to provide monthly financial assistance for residential water and/or wastewater customers. Program guidelines and eligibility requirements are subject to change.

Get a Free Water Conservation Kit

Pennsylvania customers enrolled in CAP may be eligible to get a free water-saving conservation kit delivered right to your door.

February 27, 2026 -- Aqua Pennsylvania is lifting a Boil Water Advisory for ALL customers served by the Venango Water System. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection approved Aqua’s decision to lift the advisory. All customers can resume normal use of water. 

Aqua Pennsylvania is currently operating the system as receiver under order from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. We thank customers for their patience and understanding as we worked to resolve this issue.

UPDATE February 21, 2026 at 3:10 p.m. -- Aqua Pennsylvania is lifting a Boil Water Advisory for ALL its customers in the Shenandoah service area including Shenandoah Borough, West Mahanoy Township and Butler Township. 

The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection approved Aqua’s decision to lift the advisory. All customers can resume normal use of water. The Aqua water trucks stationed outside Shenandoah Borough Hall will no longer be available.

February 21, 2026 -- A Boil Water Advisory remains in effect for Aqua Pennsylvania customers served by the Venango Water System. 

Aqua customers in the affected area are advised to use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice. 

Customers will be notified when the Boil Water Advisory is lifted.

February 19, 2026 -- A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for all Aqua Pennsylvania customers in its Shenandoah service area including Shenandoah Borough, West Mahanoy Township and Butler Township. February 14, 2026: Aqua Pennsylvania’s Boil Water Advisory remains in effect for customers served by the Venango Water System. 

Bottled water is currently available for customers outside the Reno Social Hall at 104 7th Street. 

An apparent water main break has resulted in a loss of pressure in the system. Aqua crews are actively working to isolate and repair the problem. 

Aqua customers in the affected area are advised to use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice. If you have questions, please call Aqua Pennsylvania at 877.987.2782.  

You will be notified when this Boil Water Advisory is lifted.

February 13, 2026: Aqua Pennsylvania has issued a Boil Water Advisory impacting water service for customers served by the Venango Water System. 

An apparent water main break has resulted in a loss of pressure in the system. If you observe pooling or flowing water in abnormal areas that may indicate leaking pipes, please call Aqua Pennsylvania at 877.987.2782. 

Aqua customers in the affected area are advised to use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice. You will be notified when this Boil Water Advisory is lifted.

Aqua Pennsylvania Awarded Nearly $17 Million in PENNVEST Funding for PFAS Treatment Projects in Bucks, Chester & Montgomery Counties

Funding is part of Aqua Pennsylvania’s commitment to remove “forever chemicals” to meet new federal drinking water standards; reduces associated costs for customers

 Since 2021, Aqua Pennsylvania awarded nearly $208 million in PENNVEST funding

Mandatory Water Conservation for Aqua Pennsylvania customers served by our Roaring Creek Water Plant

Due to the extended period of dry weather, effective immediately, Aqua Pennsylvania is implementing Mandatory Water Conservation measures for all customers served by our Roaring Creek Water Plant in the following communities: 

Northumberland County: 

  • City of Shamokin, Coal Township, Kulpmont Borough, Mt. Carmel Township, Ralpho Township, Zerbe Township 

Columbia County: 

  • Conyngham Township, Centralia Borough 

Schuylkill County: 

  • Butler Township, Gordon Borough, Girardville Borough 

We find these stricter measures are necessary based on current and expected continued dry weather conditions for the foreseeable future. Your cooperation is critical to helping us ensure an adequate water supply. 

To be clear, this mandatory conservation applies to all NONESSENTIAL residential water use.
